Chilling out

i’ve had a really quiet day. it was very wet today. i never did end up going out. instead i stayed indoors and just chilled out.

i read, watched some tv, and slept. i lay down intending to only sleep for an hour and ended up sleeping for about 3 hours. i must have needed it. i only woke when nitro came and nudged me with his wet nose.

we had a good dinner this evening. christmas came early because we had turkey, which is what is usually served for christmas over here. turkey with all the trimmings. then i had fruit salad and ice cream.

i emailed mark my OT this morning to let him know i’d gotten accepted on the substance use and misuse course. he sent me a lovely email back congradulating me and telling me it was well deserved.

my friend denise whose also a member of the basement club also got accepted on the course. i was delighted when she told me. i will know someone now so it wont seem so daunting. plus we can be part of the same group when it comes to doing group work. we already work together in a voluntary capacity and so it will be easy to work together on assignments and things.

so yeah thats y news for today. how is everyone else?

  1. glad you had a fairly good day. I hope it continues. I just finished dinner. I ordered a steak tip dinner and mozzarella sticks. it was good. I didn’t eat all the fries because of the mozz sticks. About to blog now. chat with you later, gator
