9 11 16 years on

My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every person who was caught up in 9-11 16 years ago today. I cant believe its been 16 years. I was a 21 year old studying in college and I remember the day very well. and who wouldnt? I remember watching the news, sitting at home with my dad watching the planes hit, and hearing the noise of people screaming, listening to all the horrific stories of people dying and others being rescued, it was heartbreaking.
On this anniversary I just want to say that I have not forgotten all of you who were effected, who may have lost loved ones, who live in new york, it is a sad day for all of you I know.
I will keep all of you very close in my heart today.

  1. I realised this morning that there doesn’t seem to be much rememberance going on this year on social media. Feels a bit peculiar. I’m also glad to see you write because I was going to email as you’d been quiet for a few days, I think?? x

      1. I was just wondering because I never knew other people outside of America also paid attention to 911. It really is so nice and sweet of people to also have remembrance outside of America.

  2. oh gosh it is that time of year isn’t it? I was 17 studying my a-levels and was in the library and happened to go onto the bbc news website. I was in shock for the rest of the day. It was… there just aren’t any words. My heart breaks over what people can do to others… innocent people… urgh the world is messed up x
