diabetes uncontrolled

this morning I woke up feeling incredibly thirsty. I mean I was gasping.

I drank 2 cups of tea, and some water. Then we went grocery shopping, and I bought a pepsi and drank that. I know I should have stuck with water but I felt I needed the sugar rush.

When I got home I drank more tea. I wanted to test my sugars but my metre is broken. I felt dizzy and disorientated.

I had taken my morning meds, so I just had to ride it out. I feel like it was not controlled well today. well at least not this morning.

  1. you need to get a new meter! Checking your sugar is so important for diabetics. My mother does it several times a day. Last thing you need is an ER visit because you are too high or low. Just worried about you is all. sorry if I sound harsh.

  2. Hoping you are feeling better now and have some safe snacks on hand to use if this happens again and you cannot test your sugars. Diabetes is not something to mess with…please be careful, you matter!!

  3. Omg, you drank extremely big amounts. Ugh, it sounds alarmingly. I’m also worried about you, you definitely should pay more attention to your health and your diabetes, it can be so severe when uncontrolled. I don’t wanna be moralising or anything, I also not always care for myself as I should, so I’d be a hypocrite a bit, but it would really be a problem if you’d have it out of control for a longer time. Be careful! And I hope it’s better now. 🙂
