Med mix up

so this morning I noticed there were only 4 tablets in the little cup that I get my meds in.

I took them but was like what is going on here! So I said to the nurse amanda, what meds did you give me?

She said she gave me glucophage, lyrica, and keppra, so I was like what about my prozac? I am on 60 mg of prozac!

She said the doctor never wrote you up for it! You didnt get it yesterday either! That says a lot about why I was so down and sleeping a lot yesterday. I didnt have the antidepressant in my system.

She said she’d sort it out before 10 AM this morning. Its weird how you can miss a med for only 2 days and really feel the effects of it. I had a pretty bad effect to missing the prozac. Hopefully she’ll sort it out for me and I can get my dose for this morning.

  1. Yeah meds can impact you immediately. I had the opposite effect where I took evening primrose oil just two nights in a row and it had me rock bottom. On the second day I was so slow I was tearful all day. Completely broken. So it makes sense. Hope they sort out ur script soon

  2. I hope you get it straightened out. It’s good you know what you’re supposed to be taking. I take a med called Seroquel that helps me get to sleep at night. If I forget to take it, I’m wide awake at three in the morning and might not get to sleep till six or seven. I wonder if Prozac has a short shelf life in your body.

  3. Well, I’m glad you’re feeling better now. I look at the names of some of these medications and I’m sure that somewhere in the world there are two little girls named Lyrica and Kepra even if the spelling is slightly different! LOL
