spent the day at the beach

today i went to kinsale with my mom and my sister and her kids. the weather was supposed to be around 17 degrees c, thats 62 degrees f. however, i dont think it got past 14. it was clouded over and there was a bit of a wind chill but we still enjoyed ourselves. we brought a picnic lunch with us. the kids had great fun building sand castles and they even went in the water, despite it being freezing. after 2 hours on the beach we went into the town and got food. then we went to the park with the kids. in the park there was a fountain and some teenagers had bought a bottle of washing up liquid and poured it in the fountain and every time the fountain came on it made bubbles. i got a few pictures which i will post separately. before coming home we all got ice creams. we just got back to my mom and dads house a couple minutes ago. i’m pretty tired now but it was a good day. our first outing of the summer 🙂

  1. sounds like a fun day. getting out and being around people can wear me out quick. it would be so nice to have people to go do these things with. I hope you had fun and wore yourself out so you can sleep. lol. -B

  2. Glad you had a busy and fun-filled day although it was cold. It’s always nice to get out in the sunshine. Sorry, you didn’t sleep peacefully though (I think I have forgotten what it means or feels like to sleep ‘peacefully’). Hope it’s a bit warmer next time you go xxx
