Relaxing sunday on the ward feeling good

i’ve had a good day. my symptoms have been the best they’ve been since last week. since before I came in to the hospital. I think the invega is really working. I’m still having flashbacks and I intend to talk to dr. barry about them on Tuesday. I havent had any hallucinations today though or heard the voices which is awesome. i have not had to take haldol prn either today. Even if its just for today that my symptoms are ok, i’m glad about it.
I did good self care things today. Took a shower, ate breakfast lunch and supper. Even got to go for a walk to the hospital store with my nurse Amanda, where I bought some 7-up and a protein bar. It was nice to get out of the ward for even a short few minutes.
I also did my care plan today. A care plan is basically a piece of paper with some questions on it that has to be filled out and then given to dr. barry on Tuesday morning so she can look at it. They are questions like how do you feel and how difficult was this week, what was hard about the week, what was easy, etc. I hate doing them but cant get out of it they just have to be done.
The student nurses did another quiz in the afternoon but I didnt participate in it this time. One of the girls in my room Mary did my hair and make up instead. She has a GHD hair straightener and she curled my hair and then put some make up on my face. All the nurses said I looked so pretty which was super nice of them and made me feel so good.
Other than that, not up to much. Just enjoying my evening. The ward is really quiet, which I am thankful for. I am just doing email and catching up on blogs and texting my friends.
