Having a difficult night

so we’re having a hard time sleeping tonight. we have woken up twice already. the first time we woke, and went out to the nurses station, the male nurse david gave us haldol, which is our prn med. We went back to bed and did manage to sleep for a while. But we woke again at 4:30 and went back out to the nurses station. We’d had a terrible nightmare. Our favourite nurse, Marie, was out there, she had been working over on the acute side but sometimes the night nurses share sides if things get busy. So marie talked to us, of course she said hi trouble, how are you? lol she always calls us that. Anyway she said she’d make us some tea, so now we are drinking it. The voices are loud, telling me to kill myself, and I am trying not to listen. I am trying to just sit here and write and drink my tea.
