st. patricks day 2017

so my st. patricks day this year was great. i spent it with family. mom and me and my sister and her kids went to blarney, have those of you who arent from ireland heard of blarney and the blarney castle and kissing the blarney stone? well i live in the city where blarney is, cork. and yesterday for st. patricks day there was a small parade in blarney, we could have gone to the city parade which was much bigger but with small kids its not good because they could get lost and also they wouldnt really be able to see much. so my sister said we’d go to blarney. that was fine with us. actually i wasnt even going to go at first, but was so glad that i did go otherwise I would have missed all the fun! so anyway the parade wasnt starting until 3:30 PM. my sister picked mom and me up at 2 and we headed to blarney. my sister drove some of the way then we had to take park and ride the rest of the way. when we got to the parade we saw that there was a whole host of other things going on. there were food stalls, and a funfair. the kids were thrilled and had a great time on the bouncy castles, and other kiddy rides. there was lots of irish music playing too on the street which was cool. after spending some time at the funfair we headed to get a spot to see the parade. i wanted to get some video of it but mom said she wasnt in the mood to video it for me. oh well. mom bought us all me and my sister and herself coffee and we sat drinking it and watching the parade. the parade lasted about an hour. after it was over we decided to go to macdonalds. i decided to have a macdonalds, and cheat have a treat day. i can work hard for the rest of the week at losing weight. so we went and i had a quarter pounder with cheese meal followed by a chocolate ice cream sundae. it was yummy. so all in all I had a very enjoyable day. Here’s to many more of them šŸ™‚
