CORA, MEMORY IN A POEM

ITS DARK
ITS NIGHT TIME
MY HEART IS BEATING FAST
LISTEN FOR FOOTSTEPS
1 2 3 HE’S COMING
PANIC AND FEAR GRIPS ME
AS HE ENTERS
I PULL THE COVERS UP OVER ME A LITTLE TIGHTER
ITS NO USE
HE CAN STILL GET TO ME
SO SCARED
SO AFRAID
WILL THIS EVER END?
CORA
