Chilled out Wednesday

So besides seeing dr. barry my wednesday was pretty chilled out. Mom and my sister came over and spent a couple of hours here with me. Moms having a good day today, she said she felt good and a little perky even so she was able to cut my grass. I was worried it might be too much of a strain on her lungs but she said she felt ok enough to do it. My sister cooked breakfast for me and her and Davin. She made bacon and sausage and toast. It was really yummy. I hadnt had sausage or bacon in a while. Its nice when you dont have it for a while, Laura said if she didnt cook it today shed have ended up throwing it out. No point in wasting good food, I say. We sat and chatted for a while. My sister did the dishes and mom made my bed. Im no good at making beds. I rarely make mine, unless my PA or mom does it it stays unmade. Davin had a lot of fun playing with Nitro. Nitro loves chasing him and he got him all excited by playing fetch with him. Mom and laura left at about 3 PM. And Ive been relaxing since then. I had a burger for dinner, with cheese and ketchup on it. Probably not the healthiest food to eat but it was nice anyway and I enjoyed it. I am hoping to be down some weight tomorrow when I get weighed. Ive been good for the rest of this week eating healthy dinners and exercising and drinking plenty of water. I even went on the treadmill twice today. This morning for 15 minutes and this afternoon for 10 minutes. Karen the nutritionist texted me with a reminder about my appointment tomorrow. She always does that the day before I am due to see her. Its good because the dissociation makes it hard for me to remember appointments. I forget times when they are and stuff. I got my injection today too. I was telling the nurse that I had a sore bottom for a couple days after the last one. She said the trick is to breathe in and out while she is giving the shot, so the muscle will relax. I guess I find it hard to do that. I have to collect my injection in the morning from the pharmacy and drop two of them off to the nurse in dr. Barrys clinic because she loaned me someone elses today because I forgot mine. Ill have to first go to see karen, then go collect the injection and drive back up to the clinic with Kristen to drop it off. Its a double journey but Ill have to do it as the nurse said she needs the injections for Monday. I have no plans for the evening, other than watch some tv, catch up on email and blogs. Hope all of you are having a good day.

  1. Are you comfortable in your neighborhood so you can go for walks with Nitro? I have a friend whose got a guide dog and she tries to get in a couple of miles a day. I’m much too lazy for that. My dog isn’t a big one so he doesn’t require that much exercise. I need to put him on a diet along with myself! (smile)

    1. No, I’m not comfortable in my neighbourhood. I don’t think I can go for walks around it. I don’t really know the area all that well. Diets are hard and they? I’m finding mine quite difficult. XXX

      1. Yeah, diets are something else! I have arthritis in my right knee and I know it would help if I lost some weight. what kind of dog is Nitro? Is he a Labrador of some sort?

    1. Unfortunately I don’t think I’m going to sleep because I slept earlier in the evening. I shouldn’t have done that. Oh well I have the radio or the TV to keep me company and I can always read if that doesn’t work
