Sick

I spent most of yesterday in bed sleeping. My throat hurts. My head hurts. I’m having trouble breathing. To be honest I’m just feeling like total shit. Woke up this morning feeling like crap. My head was pounding all night long. I got up and took some medicine. It made me feel a little bit better. I’m still going to therapy today and also seeing Dr Barry. I didn’t want to miss my appointments so I’m soldiering on. I keep feeling cold followed by feeling hot. It’s very annoying. I don’t really feel like going to my appointments but I will anyway.

  1. Poor thing. It sounds like you might be coming down with the flu. the usual things are to stay warm, take medicine and drink plenty of fluids. If you have to, go to the doctor. I just found out I have a strep infection, so I can kind of relate. This seems to be the time of year for stuff like this. when you’ve done what you have to, go to bed and stay there.

    1. I got the flu jab so hopefully it will be too strong of a strain. I’m taking medicine and drinking lots. I probably won’t go to the doctor though. Not unless my throat gets worse. Thanks for the support, I appreciate it xxx

      1. You might want to keep tabs on your throat and also-this is what sent me to the doctor-check under your chin to see if there are any swollen lymph nodes. If there are, you might want to go to the doctor and get a throat swab. My symptoms were a little bit of this and a little bit of that; a little sore throat, a little cough, more tired than usual, but it was the swollen lymph node that my friend talked me into going to the doctor. they took a swab and came back with strep. I’ve got antibiotics now hope it will go away in a week or so. I also got a flu shot back in September.
