my thoughts and emotions in a poem

i wait in the silence
of words that dont rhyme
devoid of feeling
conversations that say nothing
a surge of emotion
trapped in a bottle
i cant say with these words
the thoughts that go on
and if i believed
i’d come to know truth
in the stillness of refusal
i’ve only fooled myself
